Other than all that, it was a matter of luck and hoping he didn't surprise me with his S-Break. I also had 2 Grail Lockets so 2 characters were fully protected against his status effects, and for the others I prioritized freeze defense (I think) for his S-Break, and confusion defense for that blasted magic attack with the swords. Kloe was pretty much just on constant standby for her S-Breaks. Agate and Estelle slowly wittled him and his robots down, using items on single characters who had taken a lot of damage and had less than 7K HP or so, and using S-Breaks whenever they became available. One use was usually enough to get his CP up to 100+ (works best when the clones are on screen with both of the robots, since more targets = more CP) so I could use his final S-Break pretty frequently. I also had Joshua equipped with the Gladiator Headband, and had him use Death Scream frequently. I had her equipped with Gladiator Belt so her CP would restore more quickly, and most of the time, she had a Lictkreis (sp?) 2 ready to go when Bladelord would hit me with his 7-8K damage S-break. Kloe was pretty much the saving grace for the most of the fight. I think he's a lot harder than the last boss, personally. I got nervous towards the end and used a few Zeram Powders so I could S-Break the last 10K HP or so, cuz I was afraid of letting the fight go on any longer. ![]() I had to grind my party to LV92-93 to beat him, and even then it felt like a very dangerous battle.
